Microcement is a decorative coating made of special cement, resins and additives, that, with a little thickness (2-3 mm) makes it possibile to create seamless floors and walls. It is ideal for renovation of old floors, and to create new trendy surfaces with no grout joints and a minimal stlye look.

Microcement can be applied on walls and floors, on old ceramic tiles and on screed. Thanks to its reduced thickness, its workability and excellent resistances, it is possible to use it in the shower, on stairs and even on furniture and counter tops.

CREATIVO Microcement has an overall thickness of maximum 2-3 mm. This makes it ideal in renovation projects, where there is no need to cut doors or other architectural elements when installing it.

CREATIVO Microcement is suitable for all the rooms in the house: kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. It can be applied directly over the existing floor and it is also ideal for renovation of the kitchen backsplash, shower and other surfaces. It can also be applied on radiant floors.

CREATIVO Microcement has been specifically designed to be applied over ceramic tiles, both on walls and floors. It will hide the grout joints to create a beautiful seamless surface.

CREATIVO Microcement can be applied both on floors and walls. For walls with no tiles a simplified system is also available.

Not all microcement can be designed with stencils. As for CREATIVO Microcement, thanks to its workability and flexibility, it is possible to do stencils both on walls and floors.

Microcement is currently the trendiest coating in the bathroom. CREATIVO Microcement is also particularly suitable for bathroom renovation as it can be applied over the existing tiles and in the shower cabin.

? CREATIVO Microcement can be applied in the shower and on the shower tray as it has excellent resistance to water and is anti-slip certified. The application should be done by a trained professional following the recommended steps.

Not only walls and floors, with microcement you can also decorate and protect the countertop and the kitchen backsplash. Creativo Microcement is resistant to water, oil, and easy to clean. The only thing that it is important to keep in mind is to avoid placing hot pans directly on the surface, use a pan pad instead.

While microcement is suitable for humid environments, it is important to make sure that the substrate moisture is not over 4%. For floors affected or with the risk of rising damp, CREATIVO has developed an effective moisture barrier: CREATIVO BARRIERA. Creativo Barriera will block substrate moisture and avoid blistering, bumps caused by damp preassure.

Most microcements are, CREATIVO Microcement is 100% compatible with radiant floors and underfloor heating systems. Because of its good thermal conductivity and reduced thickness it will actually favour a faster heating.

Thanks to its minimal style and trendy look, microcement is used more and more frequently in stores, boutiques, malls and other commercial activities. CREATIVO Microcement provides a highly resistant surface that will not wear out easily.

CREATIVO Microcement does not require any special cleaner. We recommend cleaning of CREATIVO Microcement with ordinary neutral detergents. Nonetheless, CREATIVO is also resistant to more agressive detergents and sanitizing agents. CREATIVO is easy to clean as it has low dirt pick-up and no joints.

Unlike other microcements that have a limited colour range, CREATIVO Microcemento is available in more than 1000 colours, including RAL and NCS ones. It can be coloured by tinting machine so colour replication and consistency is guaranteed.

As manufacturer, our advice is always to find a trusted microcement specialist. Application on floors, stairs, showers, etc. should be done exclusively by experienced professionals. If the surface is clean, without defects, hard, cohesive and resistant, then it is possible to apply microcement on wood. However, if the floor is deteriorated and/or has defects or can give rise to movements, cracks or other, then the floor will need to be removed

Microcement is cheaper than large, natural or porcelain stoneware tiles. Furthermore, microcement can be applied directly on ceramic tiles.

The time needed depends on different factors, however the standard time for the application of microcement can be from 4 to 7 days
